Enable Third Person camera

I find that while playing BG3 I enjoy playing the game with the camera right behind the characters, or from what I'm told is called third person camera.
With third person camera you limit your point of view to strictly what the character can see from their position, instead of seeing the entire battlefield. This brings up some interesting points:
The first - It's more realistic. for example: When two allied characters are in battle and there is a wall between them, the player can still command one to assist the other, although realistically the character itself would have no idea what's going on beyond that wall. With third person camera the player can see exactly what each character sees, and roleplay them accordingly.

The second point - Immersion. When the camera is behind my character, moving alongside them, I feel like I am the character, traveling through the world.

The last - Animations. Again, in combat, when closing up to each character you can really see what are they doing and how they're moving - from casting a spell to a cambion swinging a sword, just so the mind flayer steps backwards to dodge it. This really adds a lot to the game in my opinion.

So my point is, make a button to "Enable Third Person Camera", because right now closing up to your character is not perfect. The problems I would love to see fixed with this button are the option to "look up" when facing stairs for example. and to make the camera move so it will remain behind the shoulder of the character, so when an enemy moves you won't see him just walking towards the camera.

Originally I wanted to call this Movie Mode because it makes the game look cinematic.

I think players get immersed better if they knew the characters better. Thats why Ive suggested Larian should start selling Characters, also they could add Battle Personalities, so it gives own spin/twist to the characters.

This guy is basically moving all around the map constantly. It seems you gotta keep exploring with WSAD all the time, damn I didnt knew that when I was playing DOS2, I didnt know you gotta go Full Techno. Changing the camera is the wrong way to do it.

I call it "bird view" its basically same as bird is flying around you, looking at you from different angles.

Technically true, but not how the term is used in games. No one in their right mind would describe BG 1 and 2 as "third person games" for instance.
In the same way "isometric" only rarely is used to describe ACTUAL isometric perspective and it's more often than not used as an umbrella term to describe all sort of "top down" views.

A third person game is generally a game where the character is framed from behind. In most cases exactly in the middle of the screen, while in some UNHOLY CURSED circ*mstances de-centered (typically leaning to the left side) in a misguided attempt to "free the center of the view for the player".
Examples may include Tomb Raider, Dark Souls and derivates, Uncharted, The Witcher 2 and 3 (while a similar but not very practical option was included in the first as well) etc.

"Over the shoulder" is generally used to describe third person shooters where the camera is really up close and the character is de-centered, putting the camera... well, over the shoulder, indeed.
Examples may include Resident Evil 4 and 5, Gears of War, etc and the name is borrowed directly from the similar cinematic camera angle:

It isn't quite right. I call what we have broken neck camera. Proper third person camera can be used to look up. We cannot do this here, and it makes doing practically everything a big chore with the camera. For a game that seems to pride itself on "verticality" it sure doesn't want us using it.

What I said and what he was answering to had nothing to do with "what we have here" in BG3 and it was more of a general statement about how the type of camera he was asking for is called.
