  Dr. Dre was amazing! So funny and made everyone laugh. Class was long but fun. four weekly assignments that were very quick and easy as long as you pay attention in class. Cares deeply about his topic and is willing to help students. Incredibly hard to fail his class as long as you do the bare minimum!

  He's a cool guy and I really enjoyed his class. There was quizzes after every lecture and then you have to do a weekly discussion each week, there was also a presentation you must do on a song of your choice in discussion sections. Overall, I would say the class was pretty easy, especially for a 300 level course.

  Andre was an awesome professor, and his course content was interesting! If you are in the SOJC, I would highly recommend his CINE230 class because it provides a lot of relevant information. He is very funny and makes the content easy to understand. There are weekly assignments and a couple of exams, but overall the course was pretty easy.

  Great guy, and the class is pretty interesting. Half of the class is more of a history of hip hop, and the other half is how the art was made. Would give him a 5/5 but andre is such an old head. Does a lot of the classic old person purposeful mispronouncing of younger things. Such as "OG thug" for young thug, aside from this he is a great guy.

  Andre is literally a goated prof at the UO. He is how relaxed all of us would want to be in the role of teacher. I can't express how kind, funny, and entertaining he is. Cine230 is probably one of the easiest classes I've ever taken and I did learn some valuable things about copyright laws and other things. I feel bad for people who can't take him.

  Andre makes his lectures so relevant and useful. Show up and take some notes and with brief review you'll do great on the exams. The only grade is attendance and 3 mtpl choice exams. An easy A if you show up. You watch some interesting films and his teaching style is really engaging.

  By far one of the best professors at UO. I'm staying for summer school just to take his class on Hip Hop. Even if you go into one of his classes not caring about the subject matter, you will have the best time and learn a lot.

  Easily the best teacher and class at UO. Andre is a dope professor. He is very accessible and understanding. He is visibly passionate about what he is teaching about. Mus 360 is a dope class too, full of cool lectures but does have a lot of reading and essays. Don't be scared though... it's super interesting and os the work is super worth it.

  Andre is super chill and doesn't put himself on a throne, but still teaches the class so much. Very valuable information for school but also life in general. Remix cultures is highly recommended class to try and get into.

  Andre is funny, kind, and truly knows his stuff. He provides really great study guides- use them and youll get an A+, easy. Also a really interesting person to chat with, and he does some cool events that you can attend for extra credit. Just make sure to show up to class- hell have a lot more respect and sympathy for you if you do.

  André is fun, passionate and chill. His lectures are also quite entertaining. During class, he basically tells you what will be on the test and what to answer. He does the same thing in his study guides. On top of this, the three exams are pretty easy. Show up, sign in, listen, spend some time reading the study guide and you'll get an easy A.

  Very passionate and always engaging. Convinced me to double major with cinema studies! Always try and raise you hand to answer or ask questions.   Andre is very passionate about what he teaches. Although some of the material wasn't the most exciting, he made me excited to learn about it. Plenty of opportunities for extra credit and making up your grade. Just go to class and stay the whole lecture because he will literally tell you what's going to be on the test. Really enjoyed this class!
