I am shocked at how much i pay for courses here and get a teacher this incompetent. at a high level BA class he teaches worse than teachers i had in High-school. Each lecture consists of an on average 90min lecture of the teacher reading off his slides one by one. No college level course should be taught in such a laissez-faire way.

If you pay attention in class and do the practice quizzes, you will do fine. Lectures can be boring but he teaches everything you need to know. Guaranteed C if you do all the practice quizzes, but if you can do them then you will do good on exams. Not much hw just pay attention and you'll be fine.

Would not recommend taking this class with him he is terrible. Halfway through the term, everybody stopped showing up to class because all he did was read off of the slides with a heavy accent that made the content even more confusing. Worst teacher I've had since attending here.

Buchbinder is a grad student with a very thick accent. He will lecture for 1.5 hours at a speed that is far to fast to really absorb. Would 100% recommend studying on your own extensivly or find help with a tutor because most students are in the C-D range before the term-end curve. I think he means well, but is lacking real experience.

Attending lectures are completely pointless since he's simply reading off the slides. He made multiple mistakes with wording and NUMBERS in the first exam, which cause him to interrupt us MULTIPLE times during the exam and confused everyone in the process. He takes points off little things, even though he consistently makes mistakes.

The lecture slides are the class. He uses the lecture slides solely as a means of teaching, simply echoing them, and finds great difficulty answering questions during class. The lecture slides are extremely dense and hard to understand. His grading is harsh and based primarily on three exams, with no room for error. Do not take him, ever.

Do not take this class with this professor. Class is lecture heavy, with slides that are difficult to understand and even harder to follow at home for studying. The class is 2 midterms and a final that will make up pretty much your whole grade since there are only three homework assignments and no way to earn any extra credit.

One of the worst professors I have ever had. Bad explanations of topics, boring lecture slides with black and white bullet points, usually 5+ extremely complicated topics rushed through in one day, and slides and quizzes/test contained errors that he would have to stop and correct. DONT TAKE BUCHBINDER OR ANY GRADUATE STUDENT for this course.

One hour office hours, no GE, one tutor available to all, and a teacher who isn't willing to take feedback. He goes unreasonably fast, and never covers the same topic twice, so if you don't understand it, good luck. 3 assignments in total account for 95% of your grade, and you get about 6 classes to learn it all in between. The worst class I've had

Attend lectures and try your best to pay attention. Class is very test and hw heavy. To be honest like most in the class I was quite lost after lectures but found it helpful to study the hell out of the homework solutions which he publishes with his own work. My best advice is to study homework solutions and to practice problems from lecture.

Gabriel is a new professor; this is his first time teaching a college course and the lack of experience is very noticeable. He reads directly from the lecture slides and struggles to answer questions. Everyone fails the first midterm because it's only 6 questions worth 100 points. Only 3 homeworks + 2 midterms + final = Few chances to boost grade.

He is the type of professor that would literally not help you on any of the homeworks. When one of my friends asked a question about the homework, he refused to help since we have to know how to do it. This class is literally hard and hardly anyone in the class understands what's going on and passed the two midterms.

Homework and assignments are very reasonable, but very hard to follow his lectures. He often will go on a tangent and leave the class behind in the process. He gave a 10min break which I enjoyed, but an inability to follow the lectures made it hard to get much from the class and I was forced to study extensively on my own to even grasp the concepts
