I love the University of Oregon and my experience here so far! Eugene is a small town but being right next to Springfield it feels like we have everything we could possibly need. I have never experienced any dangerous situations and feel very safe walking around, especially walking on campus. The food on campus is the best compared to any other campus!

Graduate programs are focused on theory and philosophy. The professors are knowledgeable in their fields and my program has been helpful in preparing me for the professor track. The program has been great creating different support needed for each students areas/interest with regard to scholarship, jobs/professions, and focusing on our own research interests.

"I had an above-average experience at UO. The campus offers a wide array of clubs, activities, sports, and student job opportunities, which contribute to a somewhat enjoyable campus life. Academically, I found the instruction to be of exceptional quality, with professors who are passionate and deeply committed to their subjects. However, there is noticeable lack of diversity, not only in terms of ethnicity but also in cultural, intellectual, and social perspectives. Unfortunately, individuals from minority backgrounds may encounter micro aggressions, such as being ignored or avoided. Nonetheless, the campus is beautiful, particularly during the Spring and early Fall seasons.
